Skin Care
“it’s more than skin deep”
The skin is the largest organ of the body and the most visible. This is likely why so many people put much effort into it’s health and appearance. Since the skin is porous, it acts as a two way transport system of the body. Whatever you put onto the skin will be absorbed and whatever you ingest can affect the health of the skin. The condition of the skin reflects the condition of ones internal health. If you suffer from skin problems, it’s likely that you have other health problems such as constipation or allergies. One of the main concerns of most people, especially women is that skin tends to wrinkle over time. This is due mostly to free radical damage from the sun, pollution and even internal toxins. To prevent wrinkles, it is important to eat a diet rich in antioxidants and to avoid as much environmental chemicals as possible.
