Water
“refresh and replenish”
The body is made up of 75% water. Water is essential to our health. It is involved in every single body process including digestion, absorption, circulation and elimination. Water is also the primary transport system in the body, transporting nutrients to cells for use and carrying waste out of the body. Water has a cleansing effect by flushing the blood, lymphatics, kidneys and colon of toxins. Replacing water that is continually lost through sweat, breath and elimination is very important. To keep the body functioning properly, it is important to drink six to ten 8-ounce glasses of good quality water daily. In order to avoid chemicals, bacteria and parasites, it is important to drink clean water, either distilled, reverse osmosis or filtered with a carbon block filtering system.
